Different Stakeholders and their Responses
The different TNC stakeholders include the Government, consumers, CEO's, Workers and groups against TNC's.
Government
The Governments perspective of TNC's are that it brings in a large amount of money to the country, although there are only about 732 major TNC companies in Australia it still brings in a large amount of money from consumers, in the Governments perspective a big money maker is a positive for the Australian economy.
Consumers
Consumers are not told a lot about the major TNC's in their country, this making the separation between people, and where their food comes from even larger every day. Fifty years ago if you asked a child were peas came from they would say from a plant in the garden whereas if you were to ask a child these day some might even say 'the freezer'. Most consumers have no idea where there food has come from as it is hard to find on the packet and some don't even know what is included in it. Overall consumers don't know a lot about TNC's and where their food comes from.
CEO's
The main thing CEO's are concerned about is the amount of money that comes into the company, this means that they can get state of the art products for their company which can put them above the other companies as they are more state of the art. It is not until CEO's go undercover and see what is helping them bring in the money that they truly know what is happening in their company.
Workers
Some workers of major Transnational corporations are paid on minimum wage. and have negative perspectives of the company that they work for. Although to get paid these workers have to work for the company as other companies may not take them. Overall workers for transnational corporations are fairly negative about the companies they work for.
There are also the workers that produce the primary product in the first place, these farmers start off with the company with good pay then as they work for the company for longer and longer the price continues to get pushed down by the companies while the farmers becomes threatened to loose their place with the company. Eventually the price gets so low that the workers end up with no profit but a debt.

Responses from Groups and Government
The current responses in place would be from groups and workers unions. These groups will be trying to create petitions against what workers are going through as well as finding anything wrong with the company such as working conditions and pay and then convincing the company to treat their companies better.
The government and general pubic do not know a lot about the conditions of workers in TNC factories as the gap between the pubic and where there food is coming from is growing. Many people do not know where their food is coming from as most of it is coming from overseas or factories and have many chemicals, pesticides and preservatives in them.
